New Commercial Arts has emerged victorious in the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home creative review.

The shop won the account following a competitive pitch – handled by Oystercatchers. New Commercial Arts will begin work immediately on a new campaign for the brand.

“All three agencies we met with demonstrated such passion, energy and creativity,” Harriet Lancashire, head of brand and creative at Battersea, said.

“However, New Commercial Arts demonstrated an intrinsic understanding of our brand alongside an integrated creative approach that we think will provide a step-change in helping us to be here for dogs and cats everywhere.”

Ian Heartfield, Chief Creative officer at New Commercial Arts, added: “Battersea holds a strong place in the hearts of so many of us for their rescue work. But their efforts extend far beyond rescue, and we’re delighted to get the chance to tell this story with our new creative work.”

The review does not impact Battersea’s media planning and buying account, which Manning Gottlieb OMD has handled since its appointment in 2017.
