Adam Trainis
Client Director

Adam is an accomplished marketing leader with over 20 years’ experience in brand and marketing strategy. A creative and commercially minded marketer, he has spent much of his career client-side leading multi-disciplinary teams and understands the challenges faced by in-house marketing and sales functions. He has extensive experience in delivering high-performing ATL and BTL campaigns encompassing new brand launches to gaining a competitive advantage for existing brands in mature markets. His experience spans B2C and B2B in UK and Europe across multiple sectors including finance, gaming, and media for market-leading brands including Virgin, Global, Gamesys Group, and American Express.

Andy Bargery
Client Director

Andy has spent 25 years in the marketing business, first working client side at Compaq Computer and Walkers Crisps, before moving into the agency world, working in Omnicom owned and boutique agencies. Andy has managed a wide range of accounts across technology, energy, pharmaceutical, public and property sectors. Andy started training in marketing and communications in 2019, delivering Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualifications and marketing apprenticeships for many of the World’s leading brands. A Fellow of the CIM, Andy is a passionate and experienced marketer.

Annie Mallin
Programme Manager

Annie is one of our highly experienced Programme Managers and is responsible for the operational management and delivery of projects across the organisation. She works closely with the Client team and acts as a point of contact with both agencies and clients alike throughout the pitch process to ensure every project runs on time and within budget.  Annie has been heavily involved in market-leading projects harnessing experience learnt from working in the marketing and digital media sector from emerging start-ups to global corporations and the charitable sector. Annie is a Trustee of YES charity (Youth Experience in Sport) where she helps deliver their digital marketing and brand engagement strategy.

Izzy Jacobs
Programme Manager

Izzy is a Project Manager at Oystercatchers and is responsible for the management and delivery of projects. Izzy works closely with the team and acts as a point of contact with the agencies throughout the process to ensure the project runs smoothly and on time, delivering multiple projects for several high-profile clients to date. She joined the Oystercatchers team after graduating from the University of Exeter.

Ludo Graham
Oystercatchers Club Manager

Ludo is the Oystercatchers Club Manager and has a keen, forensic interest in finding the best agencies, creativity, media, ideas and the people behind them for brands. He fosters deep relationships with Club Members and keeps the Oystercatchers community up to speed with the best work and insights to maximise their Oystercatcher Club membership benefits and opportunities. Before joining Oystercatchers worked in the thick of the account management teams at Econsultancy, one of Oystercatchers’ sister brands.

Steve Newbold
Group Managing Director, Xeim

Steve is responsible for the brands in the Xeim portfolio including Oystercatchers, Econsultancy, Influencer Intelligence, Marketing Week, Festival of Marketing and the Marketing Week Mini MBA series. Steve has extensive experience in leading content-led, multi-channel businesses in both B2B and consumer sectors. He has played a key role at Xeim in accelerating the growth of the company’s digital information and training business with a focus on establishing long-term relationships with customers and developing repeatable revenue streams. Prior to joining Xeim, Steve held Managing Director roles at WGSN, i2i Events, Emap Communications (now Ascential) and Emap Consumer Media (now Bauer).

Kate Hewitt
Group Director of Programme Management

Kate is an experienced operational leader with over 25 years in programme and project management. Kate is responsible for programme management across Oystercatchers and Econsultancy, covering the complete life cycle of a project from solution design, budgeting, deployment to feedback. Kate uses a process of continual learning with her teams to iterate solutions and processes to ensure our clients receive skilled and knowledgeable support; working as an extension to clients’ teams to help clients achieve their business objectives.
