This week (8th December), Richard Robinson, Managing Director of Oystercatchers, alongside Catrina Funk, CMO EMEA for TK Maxx ran a workshop as part of Creative Equal’s Business Programme, where they explored the art of pitching.

The session, hosted at CPB London, explored the principles of pitching excellence to over 20 delegates, who have been selected to take part in the programme. Key learnings also included how to prepare for big pitching situations and tips for building your confidence and refining your presentation style.

Speaking on the success of the session, Richard Robinson said, “Creative Equals have created one of the best business programmes for agency leaders in London delivering amazing results upskilling the confidence and capability of some of best-known names in Adland over the past five years. Oystercatchers have supported the programme since it was first created and Thursday’s session reaffirmed how much brilliant female talent there is in our industry.”

The workshop forms part of Creative Equal’s Business, a transformational program that supports women stepping into leadership roles. In its fourth year, the program is comprised of 8 modules that frame inclusion as a driver of organizational transformation, impacting creativity and profitability. Through mainly in person sessions, program participants receive invaluable executive leadership development and networking with other cohort members and industry-leading experts on creativity, leadership, and inclusion.

“Making progress in business requires that our thinking, the ways we strategise, and how we execute within our organizations are progressive, too – that means having a leadership makeup that’s reflective of the communities we communicate to daily,” said CPB London CEO and Creative Equals Business Joint Founder Helen James.

Applications for Creative Equals Business are open annually to senior women, non-binary and gender non-conforming people stepping into leadership positions. To find out more about the programme and for details on applying for 2023’s cohort, click here.
