Richard is a Managing Partner at Oystercatchers and is responsible for Partnership and the development of Oystercatchers’ Marketing Excellence Training programmes.
Richard has enjoyed working for both agencies and brands for the past twenty years. He has worked internationally with The Coca-Cola Company, domestically with McDonald’s restaurants heading Adult and Family Marketing, and with Publicis Worldwide where he tripled the size of the agency’s P&G business in EMEA whilst in parallel leading Publicis Groupe’s African expansion.
Richard is the resident Brand Expert for Channel 5 News, a Director and Trustee of The Ideas Foundation; a Chartered Marketer, Fellow of both The Royal Society of Arts and The Royal Geographical Society, a Council Member of the Management Consultancies Association and has previously been a Board Member of the European Association of Communication Agencies.
Richard has also created two highly-acclaimed Mount Everest expeditions, in collaboration with renowned mountaineer Kenton Cool, and is a sometime marathon runner.
