Oystercatchers management consultancy, which enables brands to accelerate marketing performance, has partnered with Centaur Media to expand the suite of offerings and global footprint of both companies in response to client needs. Centaur announced the acquisition of 100% of Oystercatchers Ltd – earlier this morning.

Our purchase by Centaur is the next stage in this journey to help us truly accelerate marketing performance across many more brands worldwide.”

The combination of our two businesses offers an opportunity to cross-sell complimentary products and services and importantly enable both to help brands impact performance with marketing excellence.”
This deal significantly enhances the breadth and depth of our own offering. It will provide enhanced evidence of the effectiveness of the consultancy’s approach to agency pitch and benchmarking, marketing model development and marketing efficiency. It will offer greater breadth in training, capability and ways of working together with additional expertise through specialised digital and technology experience. Oystercatchers business will also be enhanced by the extensive content and experience from Centaur’s heritage in publishing and event space.
Oystercatchers will move to Centaur’s London offices in October and will continue to operate as an independent unit reporting directly to Andria Vidler, CEO, Centaur Media. Its team and structure remain the same: Suki Thompson as CEO and Co-Founding Partner, Peter Cowie, Co-Founding Partner; and Equity Partners: Richard Robinson and Angus Crowther. The full team of project managers, consultants and trainers remain on board. Suki Thompson acquires additional responsibility by joining Centaur Media’s Executive Committee while remaining CEO of Oystercatchers.
